Clover’s Clever Playlist, Part 2

We’re one week out from The Mirror release and so far, the top 2 questions are:

When will we get the last book? (The Seven Rings will be out November 2025)

And, is there going to be a playlist of Clover’s musical communications?

Why yes, there is. When I did my first read of The Mirror, I kept a notepad and pen at hand and wrote down every song as it happened. Sometimes, I went overboard and noted down music OTHER characters played, but my friend Marissa at St. Martin’s Press kept me in line.

Nora told me that one of the most time consuming parts of The Mirror’s first draft (besides writing the draft) was finding the right song for each moment. I think you’ll that work really paid off.

Without further ado, here’s Clover’s Clever Playlist, part 2 on Spotify f- featuring 110 songs that will entertain you for hours.

    1. I don’t do AI, and never intend to. When I create something, it’s entirely from me.

  1. Thank you. I was in awe that Nora came up with all of those songs at the appropriate moments.

  2. What a wonderful thing for you to do!

    Thank you

    Have a wonderful Thanksgiving

  3. Thank you so much! The extra time needed for this is appreciated.
Also, I was noting the perfect pairing of song to situation in both books. And the clever songs that are not super obvious or everyday, but are often a less famous song by a renown group. Really terrific.

  4. Woohoo! Thanks so much for making a list! That Nora came up with a song for every moment! 😳. Wow!

  5. Love it! Longest playlist I have. So many I had never heard before so couldn’t really place it when reading. Also, now have to watch that movie about witches😄. Now if I could just figure out why killing the daughters when they wouldn’t live there and not the second wife/bride who would 🤷‍♀️

    1. Every generation. The second bride who’d live there would be the same generation as the one Hester murdered.

      1. I know! I overthink things too much. It made sense to me in the first book, one bride a generation. It’s just in the second book when Dobbs was saying how no one could be the lady of the manor except her that made me wonder why bother with the ones that would never be. But it’s a story and I need to stop. In the Dragon Heart series I was sure Nora Roberts had found Talamh on one of her trips to Ireland so … 🙄

  6. I learned my lesson in the first book. For this one, I’m writing the songs down as I get to them, then listening to a bunch together at the same time. In the first book, almost every song reference led me down a rabbit hole and I would listen to several songs before I’d remember to go back to the story – lol! This is so much fun! Thank you! Also, I’m just loving the story itself – the characters are so rich, and I don’t mean wealthy. Awesome read.

  7. Thank you for the playlists for both books! Love, love, love them and the books. Looking forward to the third book and playlist! The music references from Clover really add that extra entertainment factor when reading. I always look forward to the next interaction with Clover to find out what song she comes up with next! Also can’t wait to read the final book!

  8. I love Clover’s playlist for Nora’s 2nd book of this series. I’m amazed that every new series Nora writes is better than the last❣️ 🤘😎🤘

  9. Thank you for this playlist. What an awesome bonus.

I love this trilogy and will wait patiently for the last book. It will be worth the wait.

  10. Ms Roberts I’m 72 and still have all your books from the beginning and I keep all your books yes I have tubs of books🙂. You’ve got me through so many hard times. I can’t wait till the 3rd Lost Brides book comes out but I say it with love for your books. Thank you for your hard work. My 95 yr old aunt is a big fan also. And you scared the crap out of me with these two books.loved every minute.🙂

  11. Just finished The Mirror and loved it. So happy you created Clovers playlist. Looking forward to your next book.

  12. I give up. I can’t find Clover’s Clever Playlist Part 1. Am I looking in the wrong place or have I just lost my mind? Again. Or is is part of Part 2. I’m terribly ignorant when it comes to this stuff. Please help.
    Thanks.

  13. Finished the mirror over the Holiday weekend. Thoroughly enjoyed both! So looking forward to the 3rd.

  14. I’ve read everything written by Ms. Roberts and enjoyed them all. But, to date, this is my very favorite trilogy. Love the characters. Cleo and Owen are hysterical. Read the books, then listened to the audio by Brittany Pressley and loved them more. Anxiously awaiting The Seven Rings. GO NORA!!
