  1. I will definitely watch this, looks brilliant.
It’s time some of Nora’s books are made into films.
We could do with the J D Robb “ In Death “ series to be made for TV, now that would be something worth doing, instead of some of the insipid TV series that are on at the moment.
Reading Becoming at the moment, I need to limit my reading to make it last, brilliant book…
    Brilliant writer

    1. Gina, others of NR’s titles have been made into films already & they’re available as dvd’s in Amazon. Montana Sky, Angels Fall, Blue Smoke, Carnal Innocence, & Tribute come to mind; there are a few others also.

I sure wish this wasn’t on Netflix; I’ve managed to not give into the urge to subscribe as my entertainment bill is way high enough already. I guess I’ll wait for it to release on dvd; it will someday. I do love this book tho’! Have for years. I wonder if they’re going to do Sacred Sins, which preceded Brazen Virtue.

      1. You didn’t ask but I’m going to make a suggestion. Can you get a streaming service in your area? Most of the cable services offer it and it’s relatively inexpensive. You can pair it with something like YoutubeTV which will give you local channels and you’d be surprised how much less it is. We have 4 TVs, 2 iPhones, an iPad, 3 computers, plus a security system all on a streaming service and pay less than a third of what we paid for cable/TV/internet access before. You could do that, then when Brazen is released, Netflix is usually offering a trial for a low price so give it a shot, watch Brazen and if you don’t see the value in Netflix, discontinue it.

  2. I need to re-read that book. Merry Christmas to you, Nora and your families. Stay safe.

  3. Looks awesome! AND, it premieres right after I finish The Wheel of Time! Thanks for the Post-Christmas gift! ❤️

  4. I saw this earlier when I was flipping through YouTube it looks terrific & I can’t wait. It’s been so long since I read the book. I do have Netflix.
Was the script updated to reflect 2021& cell phones which weren’t really around in 1988. I think the actress Alyssa Milano has done a good job. I don’t know if I would have chosen her when the book first came out, now it looks like she did a good job. It’s hard to choose the right actors to play parts from books that are turned into movies , everyone who reads the books has their own thoughts . That said a movie is different than I book . I might check my library for the book to refresh my memory before I see it, or I might just watch it as is without re reading the book. Tough decisions but great sneak preview

Might need to re read the book

  8. Every time I try to post a comment it says duplicate & won’t let me post. The comment I tried to post isn’t a duplicate. Which is interesting
Liked the trailer may re read the book it’s been a very long time since I read it

  9. Cant wait for Jan 13. I really need to read the book again. Thanks for the post.

  10. Looks great. Unfortunately, I don’t have Netflix. I’ll have to talk to my sister about getting it.

  11. I have to find my copy of Brazen Virtue. Its somewhere in the house. Only books that are all together are the In Deaths. Im looking forward to seeing it.

  12. Thanks for the update! I’m looking forward to seeing how they’re bringing the story into the 21st century. I enjoyed the book when I read it about 12 years ago. It held up fine, even though technology had moved on from a “regular” phone sex business. The’ve updated to video call girls with plenty of added intrigue. Looks like the film’s quality is a step up too. Nora has so many great stories addressing social issues that it is annoying how the film industry hasn’t done more with her work.

  13. Wow! That looks really good! Guess I’m going to have to get a Netflix subscription now. 🙂

  14. Looks good! I’m definitely going to give this a watch. Wish Nora would do a miniseries of her trilogies. Any trilogy! ❤️

  15. Just finished watching BRAZEN…it was great! One of my favorites of your books. Melissa Milano did a great job in the role of Grace. Congratulations Nora!
