I’m happy to report the travel arrived home safely over the weekend. We’ll head back into regular programming now — with Nora giving weekend updates while I’ll fill the space with other things — like the Apprentice In Death teasers I have planned for next week.
The way the travelogues work is Nora sends me her updates first thing in the morning while everyone loads up photos in a shared album. I pick and choose what — I think — best illustrates Nora’s words. That can give me a surplus of great photos that don’t quite work in my vision of the layout. Today I’ll share a few of those photos as a final look at Italy.
The first stop was the Capri Palace & Spa. Here are some photos that I didn’t use first go round.

Thanks, Laura, for the great job. Nora is lucky to have you- and vice versa. I am counting the days (13 to go ) before Apprentice hits the stores. When you can, let us know please, what the name of the ID book is, that Nora was working on in Italy.
I have really enjoyed seeing all the pictures, the stories, and seeing Italy from a traveler’s perspective. I am glad that everyone arrived home safely and I am sure that everyone is catching up on some jet lag rest and returning to normal.

Is Sorrento anywhere near where the earthquake hit today? Such a devastating event, but glad you’re all home safe.
The earthquake appears to be more on the Adriatic side of Italy — north and east of Sorrento.

Been reading all about your adventures in Italy only to hear last night on the news about the terrible earthquake that hit. Thankfully you are all home and thoughts are with the people of Italy who are suffering from this terrible event. One Mayor said that his entire town is now gone. Just gone.
Do you know if anywhere you went was hit or suffered damage?

From what I gather from reports, the earthquake was north and east of Sorrento. Nora and family stayed on the Amalfi (west) coast for the entire trip.

Was the earthquake anywhere near where you had been? Glad you are home safe.
I ordered several of the workouts that were listed at the end of the trip. Some I had heard about, but didnt know anyone who had tried them. Others were totally new to me.
I know I have to work up to going all out like Nora and Kat, but perhaps me and my Kat(hleen) can start working out with them.

Its April of 2018 and I just read all these blogs again as I felt like a trip to Italy. I adore these blogs and am so thankful to all those who contribute. I read along and feel as if I’m on the trip too. The fam seems like such a great group to travel with. I love all BW’s crisp beautiful photos, and Jason’s fantastic also beautiful different views on the trip photos. My favorite part is the #RandomKatness photos although they weren’t known as that yet for this trip. Her fun and unique pictures always make me smile. Thank you Nora for the terrific words that just gave me a morning vacation to Italy. Thank you BW,Jason and Kat for the grand photos. Thank you to the whole fam for giving a piece of your vacation for us fans to enjoy and thank you Laura for putting it all together so very well.
